Is this duplicate line remover free?
Yes. You can use the tool without an account or payment.
Does it change the order of my list?
No. The first occurrence is kept, and the surviving lines stay in the same order. Only leading and trailing spaces are removed when “Trim spaces” is on.
Can I use it for email addresses or URLs?
Yes, for comparing text lines. It does not validate addresses or URLs. Case matching applies to the entire line; keep “Ignore case” off when capitalization matters.
What counts as an empty line?
With “Remove empty lines” enabled, blank lines and lines containing only spaces are removed. A trailing newline is counted as an empty line.
Will very large lists work?
Processing depends on your device and browser. Very large inputs can slow the page; split them into smaller lists if necessary.
Your list is your business.
This version processes text in your browser. It does not upload your input, save it to a database, or use analytics or advertising scripts. Reloading clears the tool’s own state; your browser may restore form values. The hosting provider receives normal page requests.
